Certain Lives is a "soft noise" artist out of NYC. I met them when they came through Carbondale to play Lost Cross with a longtime friend who performs under Alice Does Computer Music (https://alicedoescomputermusic.bandcamp.com/)

They put on a chaotic show that put the basement in a frenzy. Personal, emotional lyrics belted out over harsh electronic noise, all while sporting clown makeup and thrashing themselves all over the room. Certain Lives embodies the 'basement sounds' theme that I want Freeloader to be all about.

Now Certain Lives and Alice Does Computer Music are going on tour again! I'm very excited to collaborate with David to put out Freeloader's first non-Carbondale release. (also Freeloader's first 4 panel J-card) Attached is the tour flyer, catch them at a show in your area and grab one of these tapes.
